31.03.2022. Easter is fast approaching and INTERHOLCO is launching its new campaign: What does it take to write a story that 1300 children in Congo love? Only one crayon: Lobi! For each Lobi purchased, the equivalent of 15 EUR will be donated to the primary school in the village of Ngombé in the Republic of Congo.
Every day, this state school enables 1,300 children, including boys and girls aged 6 to 11, to learn to read and write.
Lobi is the brainchild of INTERHOLCO and woodworker Jean-Frédéric Fesseler. The pencil is made entirely by hand, from African wood (Bossé, Kanda, Sapelli) from the forest we manage responsibly in the Republic of Congo, according to FSC® principles (Forest Stewardship Council®, FSC® C022952). FSC certification is a guarantee that the forest is protected through the most demanding socio-environmental criteria available today.
