29.11.2021. Dutch writer Meindert Brouwer has reviewed and expanded his '', an all-round must-read on Congo Basin natural tropical forests. The book comprises 17 new chapters about opportunities and solutions for their conservation and sustainable use.

The new 2021 edition is also available in Chinese and French, featuring a brand-new interview with Ulrich Grauert, INTERHOLCO CEO, in '', the chapter Meindert Brouwer wrote after visiting INTERHOLCO's concession and production site in the North of Congo Brazzaville.

Other chapters include: Transition to sustainable forest management in Gabon. Sedentary farming ends slash and burn agriculture near Salonga National Park in DRC. The China Responsible Forest Products Trade and Investment Alliance (China RFA) supports Chinese timber companies in sustainable forest management in the Congo Basin. Responsible Cobalt Initiative wants to improve the lives of artisanal miners.
