30.06.2021. Wood saves more or less one third of the time used in conventional building construction. Prefabrication frees the construction process from the uncertainty of weather events.
The building is weather-tight upon installation, which makes building easy even in winter months. With no hardening or drying time required, as would be the case with concrete, the interior can be installed immediately.

Building in wood can save money, too: wood products offer a reasonable quality/price ratio compared to other materials. The shorter constructing time of prefabricated wood structures reduces the overall building costs. In addition to ease and speed of off-site construction, wood’s relative light weight can reduce the need for foundation capacity. This means that wood can be built higher on weaker ground with less foundation.

The natural durability and mechanical properties of African species offer value for money.
Engineered wood products, such as INTERHOLCO’s finger jointed laminated scantlings, offer even more advantages in terms of material and construction costs. We certify their outstanding technical and environmental performance with trusted labels: CTB-LCA 221 and FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council® C022952) :
INTERHOLCO owns the product as well as the whole production process, from the forest to sales and certification. We cater to your needs with KKK or DKD laminated scantlings, depending on the final finish you require:
