12.04.2021. Wood for carving must be dry, cannot be brittle and should not release its internal stresses when carved. The Kosipo (Entandrophragma candollei Harms) that INTERHOLCO offers with FSC® certification meets all these criteria, exceeding them.

Kosipo is an almost luminescent wood, with a reddish-brown colour and purple highlights. It is renowned in interior joinery and luxury cabinet making because of its aesthetic qualities and stability.

In this sculpture, drawn from a private collection, Kosipo shows a remarkable absence of counter-grain or knots.

The horse is the hero's loyal ally, his tireless adventure companion. Many magical gifts have been associated with horses in all eras and regions of the world, from Greece to Africa, from America to China.

A symbol of freedom and power, the horse is linked to mother earth and the renewal of vegetation, to water and vitality, to air and dreams, imagination and immortality.
