10.06.2025. Want to offer your clients a high-performance, low-maintenance product that meets the increasing demand for sustainable materials?

Pain Point: Many wood species require chemical treatments to resist moisture, fungi and insects, adding to processing costs and causing environmental and health concerns.

Solution: Naturally durable species like Kanda and Tali (an alternative to largely sought after Azobé and Iroko) offer built-in resistance to rot, termites, and marine borers.

This makes them particularly valuable for outdoor applications, including decking, boat building and exterior cladding, where exposure to harsh conditions is inevitable.

The natural resilience of these woods reduces the need for chemical treatments, making them an environmentally friendly choice, boosting health and well-being, whilst lowering long-term maintenance costs for end-users.

Why #Wood Matters:

Choosing naturally resistant hardwoods minimizes these risks, offering durable, low-maintenance solutions that are both cost-effective, environmentally friendly and good for your health, as our EPDs show.

Wood species susceptible to rotting and insect infestation require chemical treatments and regular maintenance. This does not only cause costs to increase – it can also entail heavy environmental and health impact.

Failure to address these vulnerabilities can lead to product degradation, not to forget health hazards.
