We take the complete log and saw it ‘through & through’. The same boule contains both crown boards (great for wide figure) and quarter sawn boards (straight grained and stable).
It’s all about what you’re going to use the timber for.
Depending on the wood species, our air-dried boule is appropriate to use for exterior joinery, decking, exterior furniture, cladding projects and some structural work.
Once kilned, the boules are perfect for furniture, kitchen, cabinet making, interior joinery & flooring.
