07.02.2024. The Environmental and Health Declaration Sheets (EHDS) for our wood products are now available! Design a more sustainable, low-carbon building that has a limited impact on the environment, giving future occupants the gift of a healthy environment.
Markets are showing a desire to promote building products that are nature-friendly, low-carbon and healthy. A declaration of environmental performance as part of the CE marking will soon be mandatory across Europe. In France, products without such a declaration will be sanctioned under the RE2020 regulation (published in 2022).
The EHDS is a product's environmental passport (valid for 5 years) based on the results of its Life Cycle Assessment (LCA).
It covers the entire life cycle of the product, from the extraction of raw materials to their end of life, not forgetting transport, implementation and use of the product itself (cradle to grave). Some of the data is directly linked to the manufacturing stage, while others come from upstream (energy suppliers, raw materials, components, etc.) and downstream (transport, use, etc.).
Whether for construction or design, we are committed to working with those who prefer natural, naturally high performing solutions. Our EHDS are verified by an external third party (ISO 14025 standard) recognised by the French government. The environmental indicators have been calculated in accordance with the European standard NF EN 15804 and its national supplement NF EN 15804/CN.
Our wood products come from a natural forest where 0.8 trees are removed once every 30 years, on the equivalent of one football pitch (1 hectare).
Can't wait to discover a bio-sourced, low-carbon, eco-friendly product that drives development for the 18,000 inhabitants of the natural forest where it is responsibly harvested?
