International demand for 3D veneers is increasing – especially from the furniture industry for chairs and rounded furniture fronts and from the automotive industry for use in interior trim applications.

Reholz has developed an internationally unique, patented process for moulding veneers three-dimensionally without cracking. With 3D veneers, it is possible to achieve stable moulds  that are resistant to breakage or bending. Both the structure of the wood and texture of the veneer are unchanged in the process. Another field of application for 3D veneers are coatings for three-dimensional surfaces made of materials such as plastic or metal.
